The newly-wed who hails from Delta State in Nigeria, got married to his Australian born British bride, Emma Margaret Kettle, in a lovely event on September 1.The ceremony was a lot about family and demonstrated how much Evi & Emma love each other and their families. Emma’s relatives and friends had come from across the world to witness the special event; Evi’s siblings were also there for him as well as other Nigerians based in Australia. “Today is one of my happiest days for so many reasons,” Evi, disclosed while giving the vote of thanks.
He expressed his appreciations to the Kettle family for accepting him as part of their family and to his family for always being there for him and for making it possible for him to study in Australia.
“This day is here today (marrying Emma) because I’d come to study in Australia; I’m grateful to my family for their support and particularly my sisters for making it possible for me to be here”, he said.
It was quite a colourful wedding with the mix of English and African highlights.
